Emsella Incontinence Treatment
Childbirth, menopause, and aging all affect the pelvic floor. These events can lead to incontinence and intimacy issues for women. For men, prostate cancer, stress, or infections can all cause incontinence and intimacy problems. While remedies exist, they are typically invasive.
BTL Emsella is a new, innovative treatment for women and men of all ages who suffer from incontinence. Unlike previous treatments, BTL Emsella is non-invasive and does not require any surgery, anesthesia, or recovery time.
BTL Emsella uses electromagnetic technology to restore the pelvic floor and neuromuscular control, treating incontinence and intimacy issues. During your treatment, you will sit, fully-clothed, on a special device where your pelvic floor muscles will be contracted over 10,000 times. These contractions are similar to kegel exercises, but they are performed at much higher volume in comparison to kegels. They also engage all of the pelvic floor muscles, not just the subset of muscles that can be voluntarily controlled. This combination of factors can lead to better results, sooner.
